Marsh and maritime forest trails on the Skidaway Narrows, with an observation tower.

Skidaway Island State Park

Nature & Wildlife · Savannah Paid 4.7

The park runs along the Skidaway Narrows a short drive from downtown Savannah, with trails through maritime forest out to the salt marsh. An observation tower gives the long view over the spartina, and the boardwalks cross tidal creek where fiddler crabs work the mud. Deer and armadillo are common on the Sandpiper trail.
