Palmetto Islands County Park
The park sits on islands in the marsh behind Mount Pleasant, connected by boardwalk and paved trail. An observation tower puts you above the spartina for the long view toward the Wando, and canoes and kayaks launch onto the tidal creeks from the park itself. It is the easiest marsh walk in the area for anyone with a stroller.
