Owens-Thomas House
The house was finished in 1819 and is one of the best Regency buildings in the country, with a cast-iron balcony Lafayette spoke from. What sets the tour apart is that it is told through the whole household: the slave quarters behind the courtyard survive with their original haint-blue ceiling. The two are shown as one place, which is the point.
