Holy Smokes returns to Riverfront Park in North Charleston for its sixth year on Saturday, November 14, from 11am to 4pm. Home Team BBQ and Swig & Swine started it in 2021, and it raises money for Hogs for the Cause, Ronald McDonald House Charleston and families facing pediatric brain cancer.A general admission ticket covers all-you-can-eat plates from four pitmaster villages, Traditional, Texas, New School and Coastal, plus bites from more than 50 chefs and live music from The Whiskey Biscuits and The Betsy Franck Band. The pits include Rodney Scott, Sam Jones, Pat Martin, Big Bob Gibson, Truth BBQ, Feges BBQ, Fox Bros, Home Team, Swig & Swine and Bowens Island.VIP opens at 10:30am with its own parking, a private area with extra chefs, and beer, wine and liquor included. General admission drinks are sold on site.Tickets: $95 general admission, $250 VIP, $25 for kids 7 to 13, free for 6 and under. General admission parking opens at 10am in the lots around the park, and a rideshare drop-off sits on site. Rain or shine; service animals only.
