Romanesque church on Meeting Street whose graveyard holds the city's oldest stones.
Circular Congregational Church
The congregation dates to the 1680s and the graveyard behind the church holds the oldest headstones in Charleston, some of them cut before 1700. The building you see is the third on the site, put up in the 1890s after fire and earthquake took the others. The churchyard is open to walk through and is quieter than anything else on Meeting Street.
